The Flin Flon Bombers season came to an end this past Monday night with a heart breaking  3 to 2 OT loss against the Weyburn Red Wings in the SJHL Semi Final.

 

The Wings take the series 4 games to  2 and the Bombers showed a lot of character and heart fighting back from a 3 to 0 deficit.

 

Even though the Bombers came up short in their quest for an SJHL Championship,  it was still a very successful season that saw the Bombers jump from 10th spot to second overall by season's end.

 

They also went on an incredible run that saw them go over 3 months without a regulation loss.

 

The Bombers will officially call it a season with their Awards Banquet tomorrow night at the Creighton Community Hall.

 

Cocktails at 6pm, followed by dinner at 6:30 and awards and speeches at 7:30.
