Make it five straight home wins for the Bombers over Laronge dating back to last year, thanks to a 4-0 win at the Whitney Forum on Tuesday night.
Devin Buffalo stopped all 29 Laronge shots for his second shut out of the season, including 15 in the third.
It was a dominating performance by the line of Calladine, Evans- Campbell and Boehm who combined for 9 points in the team's 9th victory of the season.
This may have been the most complete win for the Bombers this season, who certainly rebounded after a tough 3-0 loss to Humboldt on Saturday.
Flin Flon took control early and never let their foot off the gas pedal in a game they really needed to win. The Bombers put themselves in a nice spot for the rematch in LA on Wednesday.
The Bombers improve to 9-8 and trail the Ice Wolves by just 2 points for second in the Sherwood with a game in hand. Nipawin has taken over first in the division after a 2-1 win against Humboldt. The Bombers are 4 points behind the Hawks with 3 games in hand.
The Bombers are now 2-3 in the Sherwood, and improve their home record to 6-4.
Laronge after an impresive start are struggling with a 3-7 record in their last 10 games.
Flin Flon will try to win back to back games for the first time since October the 16th, when they head to Laronge Wednesday. It won't be easy as the Bombers have not won at the Mel Hegland Uniplex since 2011.
Sean Whelan and Brett Boehm both returned to the lineup on Tuesday, unfortunately Cam Blair did not and could be out of the lineup for a while with an upper body injury. Blair is having a great year and leads the Bombers in scoring with 20 points.
