Kodiak Girls Season Comes To An End

The Creighton Kodiaks Senior Girls Volleyball team were in Foam Lake this weekend for Regionals.


The Kodiak girls had a very good showing beating Meath Park 25-18, 25-13 to open up the tournament.


They lost to Wynyard in their second round robin game, but still qualified for the semis.

Played their hearts out and lost to eventual champions from Foam Lake 25-21 and 25-20.


Head Coach Ryan Trumbley had this to say after their final game.


"We had a few calls that didn't go our way hurt us." " We played as well as possible, we have a group of unreal kids that almost did it."


This was cetainly a season to remember for the Senior Kodiak Girls who had two first place finishes, and a couple of second place finishes.


The Kodiaks also gave Foam Lake their most competitive game this past weekend.
