It was a pretty decent weekend for the Norman Northstars who went 1-1-1 on their road trip which wrapped up yesterday.
On Friday the Northstars went into Yellowhead and beat the Chiefs 4 to 3. Daylin Monias of Thompson scored the game winner.
Saturday, the Northstars made their way to Swan River to play the Parkland Rangers and lost on Saturday 7 to 3 and 3 to 2 in OT yesterday.
Reed Scadden had a goal and an assist on Saturday and Rankin Inlet's Liam Tattuinee had both goals yesterday.
Norman sits 9th overall at 3-6-1 and are back on the road this weekend as they head to Souris to play the Southwest Cougars Friday and Saturday.
