Hapnot Wraps Up Soccer Season

The Hapnot Kings and Queens Senior Varsity Soccer teams were in Macgregor for Provincials this past weekend.

Both the Kings and Queens had very good weekends. The Queens were 1-1 in round robin and beat Neepawa 7-5 in Consolation semi final.

The Queens would end up winning Consolation final beating Shoal Lake 6-3. Janelle Wride was player of the game and Christina McKay was named to the tournament All Star team.

The Kings were also 1-1 in round robin and lost to Niverville in a heart breaker 2-1 in the Consolation Semi-Final. This game was decided in over time.

It was another tremendous season in which the Queens were able to win their 7th straight Zone title, and only graduate 2 girls.

The Kings won their third straight Zone, and 6th out of the last 7 years.

Congrats to all the coach's Tyler Kittle, Dean Grove and Dale Wride on their great dedication and leadership that brought more great results to the best soccer program in Northern Manitoba.
