Selects On The Brink Of Elimination

A change of Venue didn't seem to help the PBCN Selects last night as the KJHL League Final made it's way to the Whitney Forum.

The Peguis Juniors who are in pursuit of their 7th straight league title  took a commanding three games to none lead after a convincing 9 to 2 win last night.

The Juniors have now out scored the Selects 21 to 5 in the three games.

Lyle Murdock who led the league in scoring in the regular season led the way for Peguis last night with 3 points including a pair of goals.

Leo Kaludjak and Owen Angooteaulk scored for PBCN.

The Selects who have a number of players out of their lineup  including some key defensemen had no answer for a very strong Peguis offensive  attack.

The Junior's  chased PBCN starter Ethan Fechter on 6 goals on 29 shots and were able to beat local product Paxton Moore 3 times on 13 shots.

Tucker St. John looke very good last night and ended  up with 35 saves on 37 shots. St. John was good when he had to be including an incredible glove save early in the third period.

The Selects will need a win tonight to extend their season and try to get it back to Peguis for game 5 on Friday night.

Once again puck drop tonight is 7:30 at the Whitney Forum.
