Selects Look To Rebound At Home

The PBCN Selects return home for games three and four of the KJHL Final after dropping the first two games in Peguis.

The Juniors,  who have won the league 6 years in a row dominated on home ice winning 5 to 2 Friday  and a convincing 7 to 1 win on Saturday.

PBCN is banged up and were missing 10 regulars out of their lineup and hope to have two key defensemen Bryson Francour and Gage Gogal back in the lineup for Friday.

The good news for the Selects is they played very good against Peguis on home ice this year beating them in all thee meetings.

Head Coach and GM, Gatlin Church says they are looking forward to getting back on home ice. " We arn't done, our backs are against the wall being down two games to none against a good team who is used to being in  these situations. We finished second this season and we arn't expected to win as this is Peguis's championship to lose. We want to play well on home ice and if we can have a good first period and build on that, I think we have a chance to claw back in this series."

Puck drop at the Whitney Forum is 7:30 tonight and tomorrow and the Selects are hoping for good crowds both nights that will hopefully make lots of noise and help them claw back into the Championship Final.
