Mike Reagan Is SJHL Coach Of The Year

Congratulations to Flin Flon Bomber bench boss Mike Reagan on being selected Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association Coach Of The Year.

 

Reagan has been behind the Bomber bench for the last 17 seasons and has never missed the post season,  and is the first Bomber coach to win Coach Of The Year since their re-entry into the SJHL in 1984.

 

He has also guided his team into the league final 4 of the last 6 years. He became the winningest coach in team history with 525 career coaching victories.

 

This past season was one of the best in team  history,  as Reagan was able to tie a franchise record for wins in a season with 44 and led the Bombers to a first place finsh at 44-9-2-1. They were also ranked the number one team in the country for much of the CJHL season.

 

Other Bomber Award winners included:

 

Noah Houle- Super U Defenseman Of The Year-  Houle led all defensemen in the league with 68 points and was also able to land a Division one commitment to Lindenwood University. Houle put up 12 goals and 56 assists in 52 games.

 

Harmon Laser Hume captured the Sasktel Goaltender Of The Year, and was one of the stingiest and most  consistant goalies in the league. In 38 games, Laser Hume put up a 28-6-1-1 record with 3 shut-outs and a league best .930 save %.
