Selects Wrap Up Regular Season Tonight

The PBCN Selects will host the OCN Storm tonight at the Whitney Forum as they get set to wrap up the KJHL regular season.

Tonight's outcome will have no bareing on the standings as the Selects will finish second overall no matter what with a record of 25-10.

It is a big game for the Storm who still have two games remaining and if they could win them both would still have an outside chance of finishing fourth.

OCN sits fifth right now at 18-14-0-2 and are just one point up on Norway House, who only have one game remaining. So a Storm win tonight guarantees them fifth.

The Selects will be wearing pink jersies tonight in honor of National Pink Shirt day which took plase on February the 28th to celebrate National Anti Bullying Day. This is the Selects first chance to wear these jersies at home.

PBCN will be hosting their year end awards banqut tomorrow night at Chicken Chef. Tickets are $30.00 and can be picked up at the Candy Bar or the game tonight. Doors open at 6:30 and the awards and dinner will start at 7.

Special guest speaker is 15 year NHL veteran Rich Pilon who spent the bulk of his career with the New York Islanders. After being drafted from the Prince Albert Raiders, Pilon went on to play 12 seasons with the Islanders between 1988 and 1999. He would play two years with the New York Rangers before retiring with the ST.Louis Blues in 2002.
