The Bombers are a staggering 16-1-1 and have been ranked the number one team in the country the last three weeks. Humboldt is certainly no slouch and are an impressive 13-2-2-1, good for second overall.

This will be their first meeting since last year's second round playoff matchup which saw the Bombers advance to the league final after winning the series in 5 games.
Humboldt has added a few pieces since then including rookie sensation's Connor Thue who is leading all rookies in scoring with 21 points in 18 games and team mate Travis Bryson right behind him with 19 points.
Flin Flon is being led offensively by Alexi Sylvestre, Jacob Vockler, Justin Lies and Noah Houle who occupy four of the top five spots for overall scoring.
These four players have combined for 113 points so far this season.
Both teams have great goaltending with the tandem of Harmon Laser Hume and Kenny Marquart among the league leaders in most categories including gaa With Hume at 2.39 and Marquart at 1.70.
Benjamin Motew has been a rock for the Bronco's and has picked up 9 wins to go along with a 2.33 gaa.
It should be an electrifying atmosphere at the Whitney Forum with two of the premiere Junior A club's in the country battling it for league supremacy.
