Lee Wins The Bronze

Flin Flon's Hunter Lee continues to have great success in wrestling and can now add a Bronze medal from the Pan Am games to the list of his accomplishments.

Lee, who was a replacement for Alex Moore who had to withdraw welcomed the opportunity and found himself on the world stage once again.

Lee wrestling in the 86 kg event beat Ethan Ramos out of Puerto Rico 14 to 4 to claim the Bronze medal.

In an interview with the CBC, Lee had this to say about his performance. " I've never been to a Pan Am Games or any sort of games before, so happy to get a bronze in my first one, but it's onto the next. I kinda wanted the gold, so happy with the bronze, but not satisfied."

Next up will be the Olympic trials in December as Lee will try to earn a spot in Paris for 2024, which will be a dream come true for this very motivated Flin Flon athlete.
