Hunter Lee Is Back On The World Stage

Flin Flon's Hunter Lee who has mastered the sport of wrestling has been given an opportunity to represent his community and country at the Pan - Am  Games in Santiago Chile.


Lee has had all kinds of success that has seen him win medals and compete all over the world including a Bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in 2019.


Lee just found out recently that one of the wrestlers who had qualified had dropped out and he was the next in line and welcomed the opportunity.


Lee,  fresh off a Silver medal at the Canadian Wrestling  Lutte Championships in March finished second to Alex Moore who earned the spot to go to the Pan Am Games but had to pull out.


Hunter will be competing in the 86 kg event and will compete on November the 2nd. It is a one day tournament with 9 athletes from both North and South America in each weight class.
