Embry Roberts picked up the natural hat-trick yesterday, scoring the first three goals of the game and the PBCN Selects never looked back in a 8 to 3 win over the Cross Lake Islanders.
Harland Jacobson from Cranberry made his debut yesterday after a stint in the SIJHL and picked up a goal in his first game.
The other Select goals came from Kobe Tanuak, Jace Melnyk, Mathis Bacon Labbe and Ray Pudlat JR.
Randy Suisangnark picked up a pair for the Islanders in a losing cause.
PBCN peppered Islander goalie Aidan Spaggs with 69 shots while Selects goalie Paxton Moore stopped 32 out of 35.
The Selects continue to move up the standings at 5-2 while Cross Lake remains in the basement at 0-6-0-2.
PBCN will host the Norway House Northstars in a pair of games this weekend, Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 1:30.
Norway House is 4-4 on the season.
