There is going to be a special ceremony at the Whitney Forum tonight in the lobby starting at 6pm. Stewie Lloyd, Ken Pawlachuk and others have been collecting local memorabilia the last three years for a new kiosk that will feature Flin Flon sports artifacts.

Ken Pawlachuk tells us how this all came about. " Actually Stewie's wife came to me about this  three years ago and it is a collection he has and she wanted a place for it. I suggested the Whitney Forum , so we went with the then  manager we had then plus the Rec Director and we got it built. We have divided it up with Minor Hockey, the figure skating club, the PBCN Selects, our new junior hockey franchise. I have also collected from Hudson Bay some old trophys which will mean a lot to curlers and golfers and put them in there to and one is from 1935."

They are hoping this becomes a special attraction at the Whitney Forum and they decided to unveil it this weekend with all the parents who will be in town  to watch the Flin Flon Bombers for parents weekend.
