Hawks Take Down Bombers

In an all rookie affair at the Centennial Arena in Nipawin last night, the Hawks outlasted the Bombers 4-3.

Scoring for Flin Flon :

Seamus Maguire
Ram Brar
Nicholas Shumlanski

Connor Ingram and Simon Hofley split the goaltending duties.

The Bombers are right back on the ice tonight as they will host the MJHL'S Swan Valley Stampeders 7:30 at the Whitney Forum.

The Bombers released 5 players after last night's game and are down to 34 as of now. The Bombers will make 8 more cuts to be down to 26 before the season opener September 20th.

Flin Flon will pretty much go with a rookie lineup again tonight, with 4 or 5 veterans mixed in. Reagan plans to go with a lot more vets for their Friday matchup in OCN.

Recently acquired Jean Kristoff Grenier and Justin Rasmussen are in town and will be in attendance tonight.  They should be in the lineup Friday.
