Congratulations to Flin Flon's Gianna Watt who has been selected as the MHSAA'S Athlete Of The Year for 2023.
Watt has had one of the most successful years in Hapnot Athletics history.
Watt, who is a multi sport athlete helped her school win Silver medals in Provincials in volleyball and basketball and a Bronze in soccer.
She also won the Zone 11 Girls singles title in badminton and advanced to Provincials and was named an All Star in all three Provincial Championships earlier this year.
Watt capped off her year with success in the classroom where she was awarded the school Academic Distinction Award for achieving over 90 % the past three years.
