Doug Johnson has landed back in the SJHL and has been introduced as the new Head Coach and GM of the Melville Millionaires.

 

Johnson, who loves a challenge with have the inevitable task of trying to get the Mills back in the playoffs for the first time since 2017.

 

Johnson brings a wealth of experience including 11 seasons with the Nipawin Hawks including a league title in 2018 and three SJHL Coach Of The Year Awards.

 

Johnson coached the MJHL'S OCN Blizzard last season and guided them to a 33-19-2-4 record and back into the playoffs after a 5 year hiatus.

 

Doug joined us for an interview yesterday and shared his thoughts on his return to the SJHL and talked about the steps  that led him to Melville.
