The Hapnot Collegiate Sports Banquet took place last night to honor all the coach's , athletes,  volunteers and   sponsors on another grear year in athletics.

 

One of the big highlights of the night and season is the Male and Female Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year.

 

The winner for Junior Varsity Sportswoman was : Cassidy Alexander who played both JV and SV volleyball, JV basketball and track.

 

Junior Varsity Sportsman was Braeden Tetlock who was involved with JV soccer, volleyball, curling, badminton and track.

 

The Senior Varsity Sportsman was Jamal Lone who excelled in SV basketball, volleyball, badminton and track.

 

Gianna Watt was the SV Sportswoman of the year and had one of the best year's in Hapnot Athletics history.

 

Gianna was a member of both the SV Queens basketball and volleyball teams helping her school win Zone banners, where she was a Provincial All Star. she also competed in soccer and badminton.

 

To cap it all off, Watt also picked up a Provincial Athlete Of The Week nod.
