A big congratulations to Flin Flon Minor Hockey who are the recipients of a $50,000.00 grant from Kruger Products Big Assist Program  to bring more diversity, equity and inclusion to the sport and help build a better future for kids.

Flin Flon Minor Hockey received a $25,000.00 grant a few weeks back and are now the recipients of the second assist in the amount of $50,000.00.

Flin Flon Minor Hockey President, Tanner Brough was on yesterday's Norman Sportsline Program and discussed the steps Minor Hockey took to get awarded the grants , and some of the ideas that they are looking at doing with the money they have received.

Brough also talked about the staus of hockey in the North and some of their challenges moving forward.
