The Flin Flon Bombers are up two games to none against the Estevan Bruins in their opening round SJHL Quarter Final Series.

 

They are getting contributions from the entire team and two of their players were awarded for their fine play.

 

Harmon Laser Hume was chosen the Sasktel  Goalie Of The Week and picked up his first ever two playoff wins. He only allowed 3 goals in the two games and stopped 56 out of 59 shots which works out to a .949 save %.

 

Akexi Sylvestre was chosen the Direct West  Rookie Of The Week, where he picked up 3 points in the two wins including 2 goals.

 

Sylvestre was one of the top rookie scorers in the regular season and has picked up a lot of the slack towards the end of the  year with lots of key injuries.
