Congratulations to the Senior Hapnot Queens who wrapped up one of the most successful basketball seasons in decades.

 

The Queens were at Provincials in Souris and beat the host team and Prairie Mountain to get to the finals.

 

After leading for three quarters the Queens dropped a 67 to 60 decision to Rosenort for their only loss of the entire year.

 

Hapnot will finish the year at 27 and 1 and finish second in the province.

 

Congratulations to the tournament all stars: Shanti Church and Gianna Watt.

 

It was also a very good year and weekend for the Senior Kings.

 

The Kings were also competing at Provincials in Virdon.

 

Hapnot split their two round robin games against Gabrielle Roy and MacGregor. This would put the Kings in the Consolation Final against Immanuel Christian.

 

The Kings ended up winning a very exciting game by a score of 55 to 53. The game was decided by a couple of free throws.

 

A special congratulations to the King's Bryson Dumas who was awarded the Player's Choice Award for the tournament.
