Down Two, Coming Home

It was a tough weekend for the PBCN Selects who travelled to Peguis to open up their second round playoff series in the KJHL.

The Selects were fresh off eliminating Cross Lake two games to none in the opening series.

PBCN travelled up on Saturday and got off the bus and actually had a good effort coming up a little short, dropping game one 3 to 2 in OT.

The Selects led 2-0 early on a powerplay goal from Anson Favell and a shorthanded goal by Koby Connelly.

Peguis eventually tied it and won the game midway through the first OT on a goal from Keanu Woodhouse.

On Sunday, a tired Selects group dropped a 10 to 0 decision and find themselves down two games to none against the defending champs in the best of 5.

PBCN will get some rest before hosting game three at the Whitney Forum this Saturday at 2. Admission is $10.00.

If necessary. game four would be played in Flin Flon the following Saturday  March the 25th at 7:30.
