The Norman Northstars have announced a new coaching staff for the up coming season.

 

They are three names very familliar to hockey fans across the North.

 

Justin Valentino is the new Head Coach. Valentino is from Thompson and played for the Northstars between 2009 and 2010. He went on to play junior for the Swan Valley Stampeders and Dauphin Kings of the MJHL.

 

Dave Caldwell has been named an Assistant Coach and played his Triple A hockey with the Interlake Lightning. He went on to Junior with the Lebret Eagles before ending up at the University of Brandon.

 

Former Flin Flon Bomber, Eddie Wood has also been named an Assistant Coach.

 

Wood played for the Bombers between 1995-98 capturing the SJHL'S Best Defenseman in his final season and also went on to college at Princeton where he won a National Championship.
