What a weekend for the Senior Kings and Queens basketball teams.

 

It was the Zone playdowns which took place in the Pas for the girls and Norway House for the boys.

 

The Queens were able to keep their undefeated streak going and went 4-0 in the round robin against Cranberry, The Pas, Norway House and OCN.

 

That put them in the final against MBCI out of the Pas and they won 56 to 46 to claim the Zone banner.

 

The Kings were also undefeated with wins over Cranberry, Norway House, Cross Lake and The Pas.

 

The Kings faced Cranberry in the final and pulled out the win by a single bucket 59 to 57.

 

Both Hapnot teams will represent the North in Provincials with the Kings going to Virden and the Queens are off to Souris the weekend of March the 16th to the 18th.
