Congratulations to Doug Johnson of the OCN Blizzard on being named a finalist for the Muzz Macpherson Memorial Award for Coach Of The Year.

Johnson  who has won the SJHL Coach Of The Year on three separate occasions while coaching the Nipawin Hawks,  has done an outstanding job since taking over the Blizzard at the beginning of the season.

The Blizzard are currently first place in the Western Conference with 30 wins and 65 points. At this time last year OCN had just 18 wins and missed the post season.

OCN has 4 games remaining in the regular season and don't play again til next Friday March the 10th  when they host Niverville.
