The U-15 Female Norman Wild have upset the Central Plains Capitals and are moving on to the second round of the playoffs.

 

All three games were played in Portage this past weekend.

 

The Capitals took the first game handilly 8 to 0 on Friday but the Wild rebounded in a big way.

 

They took Saturday's game 5 to 4 and won the tiebreaker this afternoon by a score of 3 to 2.

 

Flin Flon's Bailey Schwartz was fantastik in making over 70 saves in the two games and helping her team get to the next round.

 

Norman will now move on to face the Brandon Wheat Kings and dates have not been finalized.
