Storm Double Up On The Selects

The OCN Storm made their way to the Whitney Forum  last  night  for the final regular season home game for the PBCN Selects.

 

After a close first period , the Storm pulled away in the second and doubled up on the Selects 6 to 3.

 

With the playoffs approaching and the Selects solidifying third place they decided to rest some regulars again last night.

 

Owen Angootealuk led PBCN  with a pair of goals, his 10th and 11th of the year with Freddy Ledoux picking up his 29th of the season.

 

Laz  Constant had two goals for the Storm with singles coming from Troy Head, Ezekial Kirkness, Logan Marr and Drew Peters.

 

Final shots were 30 to 25 in favour of PBCN.

 

After last night's game, the Selects will drop to 18-11-0-4 and are locked into third spot with 40 points.

 

The Storm improve to 24-8-0-1and have 49 points and will finish first overall.

 

Just one more game left in the regular season as the Selects will head to Cross Lake this Saturday. OCN will finish their regular season at home this Sunday against NCN.

 

Playoffs will begin on Saturday March the 4th with the Selects hosting Cross Lake in the first game of a best of 3.
