It was buisiness as usual for the Senior Hapnot Queens Basketball team this past weekend.

 

This time the Queens were in Warren to take on some of the top teams in the province.

 

The Queens beat MBCI out of The Pas and the number 5 ranked Carmen Cougars 56 to 53.

 

That would put them in the final against the number 3 ranked Warren Wilcats.

 

Hapnot prevailed with a huge 72 to 45 victory and stay undefeated on the season.

 

The Senior Kings were in Neepawa and played very well. They were perfect in the round robin and  beat Crocus Plains out of Brandon in the Semi's by a score of 65 to 58.

 

That put them in the finals against one of the best teams in all of Manitoba, the Neelin Spartans.

 

Neelin was able to pull out the win 80 to 48. Still a very good showing for the Kings who come second.

 

Next up will be the Zone playdowns. The Girls take place in the Pas and Boys in Norway House the weekend of March the 3rd.
