One of the longest running Minor Hockey Tournaments in all of Manitoba will take place this weekend in Thompson.

 

It is the Munn Cup and teams will be travelling in from all over the North and beyond.

 

Teams will be competing from Thompson, The Pas, Cross Lake, Norway House,Gillam, Teaulon and Rankin Inlet.

 

There will also be two teams from Flin Flon including the Peds Threads U-11 Bombers and the Northland Ford Bombers who will be competing in the B Division.

 

The Northland Ford Bombers play their first game against Norway House this Friday at 12:15. Peds Threads first game is against Rankin Inlet, Friday at 3:15.

 

Round Robin will continue throughout Friday and Saturday with the playoffs starting Sunday at 11:15.

 

The Munn Cup will be played Sunday at 3:30.
