10 In A Row

It was another big weekend for the PBCN Selects in the Keystone Junior Hockey League , as they travelled to Thompson and took both games against the NCN Flames.

PBCN won on Saturday 7 to 2 and followed that up with a 4 to 1 win yesterday.

Caden Joanis led the way Saturday with a pair of goals with singles coming from Leon Natomagen, Dwayne McKenzie, Evan Madarash, Carson Favell and Freddie Ledoux.

Odin Church was solid in goal stopping 33 out of 35 shots.

Yesterday, Tyler Bird had the hot hand as he scored a pair of goals with Caden Joanis and Carson Favel chipping in.

Another superb performance from Odin Church who stopped 40 out of 41 shots for another victory.

The Selects are on quite the roll and have reeled off 10 straight wins and have closed to within 4 points of Peguis for second and are just 6 behind the front running Storm.

PBCN will get a chance to get a share of second as they will host Peguis in a pair of games this weekend. Friday's game will be a neautral site game in Pine Creek with the two teams returning to the Whitney Forum on Saturday night.

Twin Motors is the game sponsor for Saturday and someone who is in attendance will get a chance to shoot to win a Ram 1500.

Puck drop is 7:30 and Kids under 12 get in free and adults is $10.00 and Seniors $5.00.
