It was another exciting day at the SJHL/MJHL Showcase in Winnipeg, with the two leagues squaring off in 3 more games.

 

The first game saw SJHL U-20 Gold beat MJHL U-20 Black 6 TO 0. The Melfort Mustangs Dawson Leroux led the way with a pair of goals,  and Estevan Bruins goalie Cam Hrdlicka made 35 saves for the shut-out.

 

In the second game, MJHL U-20 Red beat SJHL U-20 White 4 to 2.

 

The Bombers Jeremi Tremblay scored one of the two goals and Harmon Laser Hume suffered the loss allowing 4 goals on 54 shots.

 

In the final game the SJHL U18 had 7 different goal scorers and exploded for an 8-2 victory over their MJHL counterparts.

 

Flin Flon's Alexi Sylvestre scored a pair of goals to lead the way.

 

The SJHL finishes the Showcase taking 4 of the 6 games.

 

Flin Flon can now get ready to go back to work as they will host the Nipawin Hawks in a crucial match-up at the Whitney Forum on Saturday.

 

The Hawks come to town with points in 6 of their last 8 games and trail the Bombers by 10 points for second in the division and third overall.
