A Conversation With More Bomber Legends


I had the opportunity to catch up with a couple more Bomber legends on a couple of recent Flin Flon Bomber radio broadcasts.


Both these players suited up for Flin Flon back when they were in the WCHL in the late 60's and 70's.


Blaine Stoughton who played with Flin Flon between 1969 and 1973 amassing over 300 points in 4 seasons and Ray Neaufeld who suited up for the maroon and white between 1976 and 78.


Neaufeld had 171 points in two seasons in Flin Flon and was one of the carry over players when the franchise moved to Edmonton for the 1978-79 season.


Besides playing in Flin Flon, both these players went on to lengthy professional careers and both had their best years in pro with the Hartford Whalers.
