Cole Duperreault continues to be one of the top performers in the SJHL this season and just got rewarded for his fine play. The SJHL announced today that he is the SGEU MVP Of The Week.
Duperreault is coming off a week where he led the Bombers with 8 points including a 4 point afternoon in Humboldt on Sunday. Duperreault led the way with his first ever SJHL hat-trick.
What was even more impressive, is that he scored the three goals three different ways. He tallied one on the power play, short handed and one into the empty net.
Duperreault leads the Bombers with 16 goals on the season, which is second overall to Lian Bell of the Battlefords. Bell has 19.
His 31 points has him in 5th spot in overall SJHL scoring.
