Bombers Move Antsey Bring In Forward

As the Flin Flon Bombers prepare for one of their most competitive weeks of the season they were busy on the trade front yesterday.

Head Coach and GM, Mike Reagan announced that they have moved popular 20 year old forward Ethan Antsey.

Antsey, who came over from the AJHL last season,  was with the Bombers for their impressive playoff run which included a trip to the Centennial Cup in Estevan.

Antsey who is one of the hardest workers on the team did struggle to put points up with just one assist in 14 games and became part of a numbers game.

With the addition of 20 year old Ethan Mercer, the Bombers had maxed out at 20's and moved Antsey to Melville for a PDF.

Flin Flon is excited about the addition of Mercer who comes to Northern Manitoba from Olds of the AJHL. Mercer has 4 points including 3 goals with the Grizzlies this year.

Mercer did suit up with the Brookes Bandits  last year who won the Centennial Cup last Spring and the Bombers are excited to add his championship petigree.

He will make his Bomber debut tonight in Nipawin.

Don't forget to listen in to tonight's game from the Cage which will include the Great North GM Coach's Show at 6:45 and drop of the puck at 7. We will also broadcast all three games from the road trip this weekend starting in Battleford on Friday night.
