It was a great effort from the PBCN Selects who played a pair of games in OCN against the Storm this past weekend.

 

On Saturday the Storm hung on for a 4 to 3 win in a shoot out.

 

Dwayne McKenzie   scored two of the 3 goals for PBCN to give him 13 on the season. The other goal came from Leon Natomagen.

 

Sunday the Selects came up short this time losing in OT, also 4 to 3.

 

Flin Flon's Freddy Ledoux led the way with a pair of goals to give him 9 on the season. The other Selects goal was scored by Koby Connelly.

 

Blaine Dorian scored the OT winner for the Storm.

 

After the weekend the Selects record stands at : 3-7-0-3. OCN improves to 8-3-0-1.

 

PBCN will host the OCN Storm in their next game on Wednesday November the 23rd at 7:30 at the Whitney Forum.

 

The Selects also made a big announcement this weekend .

 

The Selects have Signed Former OCN Blizzard Drew Peters!!!

 

Peters is a Winkler MB product who spent a Full season in the MJHL under Billy Keane. The 6 Foot Forward played 45 games in Junior A, he will step right in to play top minutes for the Selects. Peters played parts of 3 seasons thru the Covid period in the Manitoba AAA U18 with the Pembina Valley Hawks.
