Defenceman of the Month – Reece Richmond, Flin Flon Bombers

The month of October has generated some great performances on the back-end in the SJHL and Reece Richmond of the Flin Flon Bombers has been right there as one of the top Defenceman in the league.

This past month the 20-year-old from Forrest, Manitoba scored at a point per game pace on the blueline, registering  a goal and 9 assists.

Richmond is now anchoring one of the best D-Cores in the entire SJHL, and is on pace to pass his point total of 31 from last season

Sasktel Goalie of the Month – Harman Laser-Hume, Flin Flon Bombers

There was a lot of questions going into this season on who would fill the void of departing netminder Cal Schell of the Flin Flon Bombers.

However, the Head Coach and General Manager Mike Reagan went out and acquired goaltender Harman Laser-Hume from the Nipawin Hawks and the club hasn’t looked back.

In the month of October, Laser-Hume had a 6-1-0-1 record with a 2.36 GAA and a .922 SV %. The 19-year-old Creston, B.C product also had 2 shutouts during the month, bringing his early season total to 3.
