Kodiaks Season Is Over

The Creighton Kodiaks saw their season come to an end this past weekend in the 6 Man Saskatchewan Football League.

The Kodiaks travelled to Wakaw to face the number one team in the province and ran out of gas losing 50 to 16.

Creighton did keep the score close early on touchdowns from Jaxon Smith and Carson Straile, but the experienced Wakaw team would eventually pull away.

The Kodiaks had to battle through some injuries and couldn't get back in the game in the second half.

Even though they did see their season come to an end,  it was still a very successful year that included another Ralph Pilz Trophy for winning their third straight Northern Saskatchewan Football  Title.

A big thanks to all the coach's, players,  volunteers, parents, and fans for being part of another great season.

Be listening for our final Creighton Kodiak Football with Head Coach Ryan Karakochuk later this week.

The Kodiaks will also  announce their awards banquet later this week.
