Flin Flon Continues To Dominate At Home

The Flin Flon Bombers continue to impress and win games at the Whitney Forum after another weekend sweep of the Melville Millionaires.

The Maroon and White took both games by scores of 4 to 2 and 5 to 4.

The Bomber win streak reached 5 at home and they are now 8-0-1-1 at home for the season.

Flin Flon also had an incredible October which saw them go 8-2-1 and they are first in the Sherwood Division at 11-3-1-1,  and lead second place Laronge by 3 points with a game in hand.

The offense was once again very spread out with Jeremi Tremblay, Alexi Sylvestre, Liam Bridger, Brent Gulenchyn, Jaxon Martens and Cole Duperreault all finding the back of the net this weekend.

Both Bomber goalies got starts with Harmon Laser Hume making 18 saves on Friday for his 8th win of the season.

Kenny Marquart got the call on Saturday and played very well making 28 saves.

It was parents weekend and a big thanks to Rob Simon and the Bomber board for organizing a very special weekend,  with lots of activities and events for the Bomber parents to enjoy when they were in town.

Next up for the Bombers will be a big Sherwood Division tilt with the Melfort Mustangs. Flin Flon heads to the Northern Lights Palace for the first time on Wednesday and you can hear all the action on 102.9 CFAR and flinflononline.com.

We will be on the air with the Great North GM Coach's Show at 8:10 and drop of the puck at 8:30 Manitoba time.

This will be the second meeting of the year with the Bombers shutting out the Stangs in their home opener 2 to 0 back on September the 16th.
