The PBCN Selects are the first team to beat the defending Keystone Junior B Champs out of Peguis after a hard fought 4 to 3 win yesterday afternoon.

 

The Selects rebounded after a 7 to 1 loss on Saturday.

 

Koby Connelly scored the winning goal just after the 14 minute mark of the third period and Braxton Constant Kuba held the fort the rest of the way.

 

Kuba was lights out and made 46 saves as his team was heavilly out shot 49 to 21.

 

Other goals came from Dwayne McKenzie who picked up a pair and Nik Bear who scored his team leading 17th of the year.

 

The Selects record improves to 4-4-0-1 and are just 3 points out of first place overall.

 

PBCN heads back to Peguis for a pair of games this weekend.
