The PBCN Selects played their first two regular season games in franchise history this past weekend at the Whitney Forum.

 

It was a great weekend of crowds, dignitaries and excitement.

 

The Selects grabbed 3 out of 4 points including a 9 to 5 win on Saturday.

 

Leon Natomagen and Flin Flon's Freddie Ledoux led the way with a pair of goals each.

 

Sunday the Northstars pulled the upset 7 to 6 in OT for their first win of the season.

 

Jay Peeaychew scored the OT winner 3:32 into extra time.

 

Nik Bear and Dwayne Mckenzie each had a pair of goals in a losing cause.

 

After the weekend, the Selects record sits at 3-3-0-1 and will travel to Peguis to play the unbeaten Juniors for a pair of games this up coming weekend.
