Congratulations to the Senior Hapnot Queens who wrapped up the soccer season in style the past weekend.

 

The Queens were in Birtle for Soccer Provincials and were able to cap off a very successful year..

 

Hapnot won their first game blanking Minnedosa 3 to 0 and then had to go up against the number one team in the province  Altona.

 

They played their hearts out and lost 2 to 1. Shanti Church scored all 4 goals for the Queens in the two round robin  games.

 

The Queens would then face Neepawa for the Bronze Medal and they ended up winning 4 to 2 in penalty kicks. They finish third in the province with just the one loss all year.

 

Shanty Church and Gianna Watt were also named to the All Star teams.

 

It was also a good weekend for the Hapnot JV Volleyball team who beat Creighton 2 sets to none to win the MBCI Invitational tournament in The Pas.
