Kodiaks Wrap Up Regular Season With Convincing Win

The Creighton Kodiaks wrapped up the Northern Saskatchewan Football regular season yesterday at the Creighton Field.

The Kodiaks were trying to shake off a loss against Cumberland House the week before.

It was business as usual as the Kodiaks cruised to the 42 to 1 victory over Ahtahkakoop.

Carson Straile and Aidan Joa Hall once again led the way offensively with a pair of touchdowns each.

Marcus Kennedy and Jordan Donaghy scored the other td's.

Gracie Dubinak converted three converts on a very windy day.

The Kodiaks finish the regular season at 5-1 and now can look forward to the playoffs.

The first big game will be a re-match with Cumberland House this Saturday.

This will be the Northern Saskatchewan Final which will decide the Ralph Pilz Trophy. Cumberland is big and are good both offensively and defensively as the Kodiaks found out a couple weeks back.

Creighton will be looking to pull the upset and pick up their fourth straight Northern title.

The following week they move into the Provincial bracket and the Kodiaks will be travelling to Wakaw who are the top team in the province.
