Former Bomber Trainer Off To Sweden

Steve "Hilty" Hildebrand will be joining Team Canada at the upcoming 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Hildebrand has been named one of two equipment managers for Team Canada at the event which takes place in Malmo Sweden from December the 26th, 2013 until January the 5th, 2014.

This will be Hildebrand's third time at the World Junior Championship, with his other two appearances  2003 in Halifax and 2010 in Saskatoon.

Hildebrand was the Bomber trainer from 1995-2000, and has had stops with the AHL'S Manitoba Moose, and spent time with the Manitoba Bisons of the CIS.

Hildebrand is currently entering his 13th season behind the bench as the trainer of the Saskatoon Blades.

All the hockey fans in Northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan would like to congratulate Hilty on another great accomlishment in his career, and wish him and Team Canada all the best at the event.
