Congratulations to Flin Flon's Josie Wiens who has been nominated by Judo Saskatchewan for the U-14 Female Athlete Of The Year.

 

Josie is coming off a very stong year in which she won a Bronze Medal at the Edmonton International Judo Tournament , which is the largest judo tournament in the world.

 

This is exciting news because it was her first tournament in over a year due to Covid conditions.

 

Josie is looking forward to a full judo season which will include a trip to the Saskatchewan Summer Games, The Saskatchewan Open, and the Edmonton International.

 

If all go's well a chance at the National Championship.

 

Josie is working very hard training three nights a week at the Flin Flon Judo Club.
