PBCN Signs Two Players

The PBCN Selects who will begin play in the KJHL this fall have made their first two selections in franchise history.

PBCN Selects have acquired the Playing Rights to 2003 Haydon Linklater. Linklater posted a .865 SV% in 19 games with the Prince Albert Titians last season in the PJHL.

Linklater was acquired earlier this offseason by the Carrot River Outback Thunder before being traded to PBCN.

Linklater will bring experience and provide a veteran presence in the crease for the expansion Selects this season.

PBCN Selects have also acquired 2003 Tyler Bird from the carrot River outback thunder.

Bird scored 7 points in 21 games last season in the PJHL and had 8 Penalty minutes.

The 19 year old from Pelican Narrows played his minor hockey in Flin Flon, at nearly 6 ft tall he will add size and be counted on to provide secondary scoring for the expansion selects.

GM Gatlin Church said "I'm very happy with adding two players with Saskatchewan Junior B experience, both kids should fit in very well and help provide us a base to work around"
