The Flin Flon Bombers are saddened to hear the loss of former Bomber and Flin Flon resident Cal Hammond.

Cal suited up for the team during the days of the WCHL and was eventually drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 4th round, 45th overall in the 1970 NHL Entry Draft.

Cal would also serve as an assistant coach with the Bombers when they hosted the 2001 Royal Bank Cup.

The Bomber organization would like to send their condolences to Cal's family.
