The Flin Flon Bombers have been signing all kinds of prospects and look to be in good shape to start the season in September.
Flin Flon looks like they will have depth in all positions and are thrilled to get a elite signing from Northern Manitoba.
The Bombers announced on social media that they have signed 2004 born defenseman Cheechoo Lathlin.
Lathlin would be the best prospect in the North to come along since Brady Keeper back in 2013.
Lathlin who hails from OCN, suited up for the Norman Northstars for three seasons and picked up 49 points in his final season of 2021-22. He was also named to the Manitoba AAA U-18 League's First All Star Team.
Lathlin also made the roster for the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships this past May in Nova Scotia.
Only 18, Cheechoo could be an anchor on the Bomber blue line for the next three seasons.
