OCN Blizzard goaltender Steven Bacovsky will get a chance to continue his hockey career at an elite level.
Bacovsky has committed to play NCAA Division 1 for Merrimack College .
The Calgary native came over from the Melfort Mustangs in October, and Bacovsky established himself as one of the league's top netminders and gave the Blizzard a chance to win every night.
He played 34 games going 12-13-2 with a 3.30 GAA and a .914 save %.
Merrimack has a rich history of recruiting players from across the Prairies including a good crop from both the MJHL and SJHL.
