The Flinty Ice Fishing Derby wrapped up this past Sunday with 478 fish caught and released over the entire tournament.

 

The Flin Flon Rotary Club changed the format and it was an online derby that featured anglers from all three Prairie provinces.

 

Warm sunny days brought anglers out in full force over the last 3 days and there was fierce competition on the leader boards.

 

Here are the winners in the various categories:

 

Largest Burbot - 90 fish submitted- Chantelle McDermott - Denare Beach

 

Largest Northern Pike- 177 fish submitted- Devin Salisbury - The Pas

 

Largest Lake Trout- 71 fish submitted- Trevor Athmer - Watson Sask

 

Largest Pickerel- 140 fish submitted- Rob Galbraith- Creighton Sask

 

All the profits from this event will go towards the Flin Flon Aqua Center Construction Project. A big thank you to all 54 sponsors who made this event possible.
