This past weekend a number of Flin Flon Minor Hockey teams were out playing in tournaments.

 

McKeens Trucking and the Flin Flon Firemen were in Thompson for the 31st annual Jack Burden Memorial Tournament.

 

The FF Firemen finished the round robin at 1-2 with a win against the Thompson Senators and two losses against a very good Rankin Inlet team and the Pas Huskies.

 

The Firemen did defeat the Thompson Senators to claim the C Side Final.

 

McKeens Trucking finished the round robin with two wins and a tie and ended up losing the A-Side Final to Rankin Inlet.

 

The Pee Wee Kinsmen Bombers were in Killarney for Provincials and they lost both their round robin games to Arborg 3 to 1 and 4 to 0 to Rock Lake.

 

They did end their season on a bright note with a 3 to 1 win against Gladstone to claim the Consolation Final.
